This blog began as a way to get me back into writing what I wanted to write, rather than what I was told to or paid to. The idea was that to put myself under a bit of pressure to write more regularly and about a wider range of subjects as well as to start to write a bit more seriously about my areas of interest – criminology, politics and media.
So far, its been a bit sporadic and I’ve tended to write very long pieces about very varied subjects – as you can see from the list on the left.
I’ve also begun to post more random and short thoughts, images and links on tumblr here
